How I write better Jira tickets as a designer
Writing dev tickets always felt like translating design-brain into developer-brain badly. Now Codex does that translation for me, using an MCP server to pull my Figma and whiteboard context directly, turning it into tickets, checking builds against the original design, and writing the docs after, so I still think like a designer and lose less in the handover.

(Don't) Trust the design process
The design process was built for a slower era. AI's raised the floor on "good enough," so craft and judgment are what actually differentiate now. Sometimes the solution comes before the problem statement, shipping is the start not the finish, intuition is earned pattern recognition, frameworks are tools you bend, and delight counts even when it's not in the brief. Trust your judgment over the ritual.
